Phoenix is a vibrant city that offers many unique entertainments. The area is a cultural hub where the arts and commerce coalesce to create a fun and revitalized environment. Some of the unique attractions in downtown Phoenix include a visit to the Art Museum or taking in a show at Comerica Theater.

Mesa is a growing and thriving community with urban and rural features. The population of Mesa currently sits at roughly 496,000 people and you can expect that number to continue to grow well into the future. Mesa is one of those places where you can find a mixture of everything, from the arts and culture to wildlife and geographical diversity. Mesa is a very wide-open place where you can explore a multitude of attractions, or you can catch a show at the famous Mesa Amphitheatre. Mesa is also home to the iconic Superstition Mountains and the city features a modernized infrastructure.

Chandler is widely known for hosting the Cactus League, which is where spring training and exhibition games take place for Major League Baseball before the season begins. Chandler also offers many different upscale dining experiences, which includes authentic Mediterranean cuisine as well as the renowned China Magic Noodles in Uptown Chandler. We also want to mention that Chandler is home to the Ostrich Festival as well as the Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival.

Bordering Phoenix and located at the foot of McDowell mountains, Scottsdale is routinely selected as one of the most desirable communities in which to settle down throughout the United States. Old Town, an urban fixture located in Scottsdale, is a popular area to visit because it has a lot to offer in terms of shopping, cultural essence, and cuisine options. The Sonoran Preserve is also located in Scottsdale which is the U.S.’s largest urban wilderness.

With a population of roughly 246,000 people, Glendale (often referred to as the Northwest Valley) also offers an array of attractions and entertainments. Northwest Phoenix is home to some of the most popular sports teams in the country, such as the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals and the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes. Glendale is also considered to be one of the most renowned shopping areas in the United States.

With a moderately sized population of about 242,000 people, Gilbert is a vibrant and growing city. The city is anticipating that its population will expand to 330,000 in the coming years due to booming commerce and an enhanced quality of life. Gilbert is also nationally ranked for its K-12 education system and if you have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, the average annual income tops-out at $80,000.

Tempe is a major tourist hub because it is home to popular year-round events that you won’t find anywhere else. This includes Four Peaks Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake, Arizona Dragon Boat Festival, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon and ½ Marathon. Also, if you are a huge college football fan, then you are in luck because Tempe is home to the Arizona State Sun Devils. Downtown Tempe is also home to hundreds of unique and eclectic restaurants and shops.

Although Peoria is a modestly populated city in the Phoenix greater area, the area is home to the 23,000-acre Lake Pleasant Regional Park. This is a true desert oasis: Lake Pleasant represents a popular destination for boating and other recreational activities out on the water, such as fishing and water skiing. Peoria also offers over 60 miles of trails where you can go biking, hiking, or even horse riding.

Surprise, Arizona, is where the party is at! What makes Surprise such a unique area is that you get the little town experience but the city itself is located only 45 minutes away from Downtown Phoenix. The community features a large variety of art galleries and other cultural landmarks that are unique to the region. The area is also perfect for any who likes to explore the outdoors and experience everything that nature has to offer.

Although Avondale is one of the smaller cities in the Phoenix area, there are still many things to do when you are in the area. You have the city’s popular Historic Corridor which features many different shops and businesses that boast of international appeal. There is also the Phoenix International Speedway, which has hosted race events for CART, Verizon IndyCar Series, USAC Racing, and WeatherTech.

Goodyear is another modestly-populated town in the Phoenix area that also offers a lot of attractions that draw a great deal of attention. The Estrella Mountain Regional Park is a 20,000-acre public park that features a large variety of wetland ecosystems and environments. The area provides you with ample opportunity to get out and explore. The Brass Armadillo Antique Mall is another staple of Goodyear that sells an incredible variety of novelty items that you won’t find anywhere else.

With a population of just under 70,000 people, Buckeye is the place to be for its historical tourism. Many people visit the area to visit the Gillespie Dam Bridge, which is one of the largest bridges and steel structures throughout the state of Arizona. The Skyline Regional Park and Desert Botanical Garden are also popular destinations for visitors because they allow you to take in the unique geographical features of the area.

Casa Grande is super popular for a year-round golfing experience. Located in-between Phoenix and Tucson, Casa Grande boasts of a historic downtown area that features more than 40 buildings that are listed in national and historic registers. The area is popular for its live concerts, car shows, walking tours of historic sites. You can also visit Casa Grande if you are interested in experiencing local and regional Native American cultures.

Maricopa is a rural community located on the outskirts of Phoenix just southwest of Chandler. Maricopa is one of the oldest and most historic communities in the entire state of Arizona. Hidden in the environs of the Sonoran Desert, Maricopa is a community that is growing and prospering economically, and it’s also a nice and quiet place to raise a family and live a comfortable life.

Located about 35 miles east of Phoenix, Apache Junction is also a rural city that is famous for its many historic features. This includes the infamous Goldfield Ghost Town, which was originally built during the 1890s and featured several saloons and a boarding house. The Tonto National is also the perfect place to visit for its numerous creeks, streams, and riverbeds. Salt River is also a great place to go tubing!

Queen Creek is a quaint community located just southeast of Gilbert that experiences around 330 days of sunlight! Queen Creek is considered to be one of the best-kept secrets of Arizona because the area represents a quiet and relaxing escape from the city while also offering its residents a bevy of recreational options. The area has also caught the attention of the tech industry for its large tracts of affordable land and easy access to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

El Mirage is a city located in-between Surprise and Peoria with a population of around 35,000 people. El Mirage was established as an economic effort to store, manufacture, and distribute foreign and domestic goods that are exempt from U.S. Customs duties and excise taxes. El Mirage plays an integral role in spearheading future business efforts in the local community and bringing jobs to the region. In recent years the city has undergone several ambitious projects, including the construction of a new police station, the Northwest Valley Family YMCA facility, and a New City Hall.
